Arlington Raceway
September events
The Arlington Raceway will be racing through the end of September with all of our divisions in action. Hutchinson Co-op will be presenting the Jeff Rucks Memorial Race for the Ottomotive Tire & Repair Modifieds which will be a $1,000 to win and $125.00 to start the feature. This will also be an all-star qualifier event for next year’s IMCA SuperNationals. This race is in memory of Jeff Rucks who lost his life in 1986 due to a racing accident. Racing begins at 6:00, pit gate opens at 1:45 for the Go-Kart heats which will be at 3:00. Kart features will be run at approximately 4:15. Hotlaps for the oval track will begin at 5:00. Grandstand opens at 2:50. Grandstand prices are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids.
September 19th will feature all of the classes in action once again with $500 to Win the Olson Snowplowing & Lawn Care Outlaw Hobby division. If the cars display an Olson Snowplowing & Lawn Care Decal on their car and win the feature the driver will receive an extra $500. This night is sponsored by Mankato Motorsports and Pentagon Materials both of Mankato MN. Grandstand prices are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids.
To cap off the month will be the 45th Arlington Raceway Season Championship Grand Finale event, in honor of Bob’s Birthday and the class that helped start the Arlington Raceway, the IMCA 305 RaceSaver Sprint feature will pay $4,500 to Win. There will be a draw fee of $45.00 for the sprint division, pit fees are $35.00. Again all of our classes will be in action. Race time will be at 5:00. The pit gate will open at 1:00, kart heats will be at 2:00 with their features at approximately 3:15. The grandstand will open at 1:50. Grandstand prices are $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids. Hot laps for the big track will be at 4:00. Dakota Robinson Construction, Cole Robinson Trucking and Robinson Auto Repair are all race night sponsors of this event.
