2025 Arlington Raceway Banquet
The 2025 Arlington Raceway Awards banquet was held Saturday, April 4th in Arlington MN. The following 2025 champions were honored: Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby Cory Probst from Brewster, Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact Alan Lahr from Nicollet, Olson Snowplowing & Lawn Care Outlaw Hobby Mark Oestreich from Belle Plaine, Arlington State Bank IMCA Northern Sport Modified Broddy Enter from New Ulm, Rice Companies IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Brett Allen from Gaylord, B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car Dan Mackenthun from Hamburg, and the Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified Trent Loverude from Sleepy Eye. The top 10 drivers in each division received awards.
Nick McConnell from Henderson was the Jerry’s HQ Foods Auto Cross Champion and Cody Sievert from Gibbon was the EZ Wash & Storage Truck Cross Champion.
The Hess Technology Go Kart division champions were as follows: Silas Rustman from St. Peter in the Junior Sportsman class, Jase Schroeder from Belle Plaine the Junior class and Travis Manderfield in the Stock class.
Most improved drivers in the following classes receive plaques: Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby Ben Davis from Belle Plaine, Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact Justin Dose from Brownton, Olson Snowplowing & Lawn Care Outlaw Hobby Kris Flewelling from Hamburg, Arlington State Bank IMCA No. Sport Modified Joey Reimers from Belle Plaine, Rice Companies IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car was Andrew Allen, B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car was Andrea McCain from South Haven, Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified was JJ Reimers from Belle Plaine.
Rookie Awards were given out to the following: Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby Brad Jones from New Ulm, Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact Justin Schelitzche from Chaska, Olson Snowplowing & Lawn Care Cody Flewelling from Hamburg, Arlington State Bank IMCA Northern Sport Modified was Ben Enter from New Ulm and the Rice Companies IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car was Brayden Allen from Gaylord.
Perfect attendance awards were also given out to the drivers that participated in every event last year. The Floyd and Margelet Allen Memorial for Family Participation was awarded to the Mark Oestreich family of Belle Plaine for their loyalty to the Arlington Raceway. The prestigious Jeff Rucks Sportsmanship Memorial Award was given to Gary Schumacher for helping his fellow competitors with parts and getting back on the track after mishaps to their cars.
The banquet ends the 2025 season and begins the 2026 season. All of the above classes will be in action. Test-N-Tune is scheduled for April 25th beginning at 11:00 with the Go-Karts and the oval and cross tracks will be after that at 12-00. The Warehouse in Winthrop is hosting a pre season car show this year on April 18th beginning at 11:00 AM. All car divisions from Arlington Raceway are invited to attend. Tanker Bay and Arlington Raceway are also sponsoring this.
